HOTEL FIRE
THREE WOMEN PERISH Received Dec. 30, 10.25 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 30. Three women were burned to death and seven injured, including a hone) moon couple, in a fire at the Waverley Hotel, Edinburgh, early this morning. A fireman found the building blazing from a window, and from the roof a number of guests and members of the staff escaped by lowering themselves on to the roof of the adjoining building. The victims were a kitchenmaid, chambermaid, and a book-keper. The Theatre Royal, {Sheffield, also was practically burnt down during the night.
