CHILD KILLED
STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR [ Per Press Association. ] BLENHEIM, Dec. 29. Corinne Avis Freeth, aged 13 daughter of Mrs. Richard Bird, ol Mira’ nr, Wellington, was run over and killed by a car driven by Ronald Home Myles, aged 16, public school boy, on a tour of New Zealand from England. The girl, with her grandmother, wa« walking in the same direction and ran over the road in front of the ear, which struck the child, throwing her into a ditch. She was picked up dead.
