ALL BLACKS v. IRELAND PRELIMINARY SELECTION PAGE NOT PLAYING [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright! LONDON, Dec. 2. It is announced by Mr V. R. Meredith, manager-selector of the New Zealand touring team, that the players to represent New Zealand in the Rugby Test with Ireland at Dublin on Saturday will be chosen from the following:— Baieks.—Gilbert, Mitchell, Ball, Hart, Oliver, Tindill, Caughey, Griffiths, and Sadler. Forwards. —Lambourn, Dalton, HarG ley, Pepper, Reid, King, McKenzie, Manchester, Vorrath, Mahoney, and McLean. Probable Back Line It is expected that the New Zealand team’s ba'.:k division will be: Full-back: Gilbert. Three-quarters: Mitchel’, Oliver, Hart. Five-eighths: Caughey, Griffiths. Half-back: Sadler.Page, even if fit, was regarded »« unlikely to be included. Griffiths is receiving daily treatment for his leg in-
jury and is recovering. Hore, of course, is not available for Saturday’s Test owing to a damaged hand. This will necessitate at least a change in the forwards from those who nlavcd in the Test with Scotland.
