ELECTRICAL WIREMEN S EXAMINATIONS. In September examinations under the Electrical Wiremen’s Registration Act were held in various New Zealand centres. Following were the passes in some of the localities:— Written.—Gisborne: A. E. Badham. Hawera: J. H. T. Breed. D. G. Al. Buist. Palmerston North: S. J. Albert, R. AI. Alansscn, Wellington: Al. R. Barlow, D. Clarke, J. W. Silver. Practical. —Gisborne: A. Richardson. Hawera: B. T. Bradley. Nelson: H. H. Grant, F. J. Thurston. Palmerston North: C. C. Ale Coll. R. AI. Alanssen, R. F. Reid, R. J. Stanley, N. W. Taylor. Wellington: R. I. Bolton, G. F. Cresswell, W. Fisher. The Cable Alakers’ Association is again presenting two gold medals (known as the C.M.A. awards); one to the candidate who gained the highest marks in the written part of the examination and one to the candidate who gained the highest marks in the practical part. As an additional prize the proprietors of the New Zealand Electrical Journal are forwarding, free ot cost, to each of the prize winners a copy of the journal each month for the next 12 months. The prize for the written part was gained by H. W. Springer of Auckland, who secured 80 marks out of a possible 100. The prize for the practical part was gained by V. J. Kingsland, of Invercargill, who secured 84 marks out of a possible 10('-
