OHINGAITI
W.D.F.U, FLOWER SHOW. The monthly meeting of the Ohingaiti branch of the WJD.F.U., this month took the form of a flower show which was held in the Town Hall on Tuesday afternoon. Bitterly cold and stormy weather somewhat marred the function and detracted from the excellence of the entries in t-ho eutflowers sections but much interest was evidenced in the undertaking and numerically, the entries far exceeded last year’s total. Airs. Thos. Stewart, president, and Airs. F. R. Fulton, secretary, together with helpers, capably conducted the function and those attending were appreciative of the efforts of the branch to cater for flower lovers. Judging was performed by Airs. T. IL Willis, cut flowers and Airs. Harris, deIcorative and those acting as stewards ( were:—Flowers, Airs. Miller; decorative, Airs. Wrightgon; vegetables, Airs. Bartlett.
