CARGOES FROM SOUTHERN PORTS. KAPITI WANGANUI TO-DAY The coastal motor-ship Kapiti is expected to discharge Wellington cargo at Wanganui to-day. She will return to Wellington altei discharge. (Burgess and Co.). STORM IN PORT With general cargo from Bluff and via ports, the Canterbury Company’s s.s. Storm arrived at Wanganui yesterday. The vessel will discharge at the Town Wharf to-day and is to sail again to-night. She will take rargn fn- Wellington, Dunedin. Oamaru, Tamara and Lyttelton. (Millward and Co.). BREEZE DUNEDIN TO-DAY The Canterbury Company’s 622-ton coastal motor ship Breeze is due at Dunedin to-day and will commence her Wanganui loading immediately. Her subsequent load'ng port.are as follow: Oamaru and Timaru to-mor-row. Lyttelton Wednesday, Wellington and Picton Thursday and Wanganui (arrive) Friday. (Millward and Co.). THE S.S. HOLMDALE Helm and Company’s s.s. Holmdale is expected at Dunedin to-day and will continue loading for Wanganui at Oamaru and Timaru to-morrow. Lyttelton Wednesday and at Wellington a/.d Picton Thursday. The vessel is due here again on Friday. (Hohn and Co.). ON EH UNGA-NEW PLYMOUTH SERVICE HAUTURU DELAYED The a.m.v. Hauturu. which was expected at Wanganui yesterday has been delayed. The vessel cannot now arrive before tomorrow at the earliest. (Johnston and_Co.).

COAL CARGOES RATA FROM WEST COAST With coal from Westport and Greymouth, the Anchor Company’s twin-screw collier Rata (974 tons. Captain Vasta) arrived al Wanganui during the week-end. After discharge to-day the Rata wil’ sail for Wellington and the West" Coast. (Cock and Co.). OVERSEAS VESSELS. (To Berth at Castlecliff) SULPHUR FROM JAPAN The Greek steamer Nemea (5101 tons), with sulphur from Port Muroran, Japan, is now discharging at Lyttelton. From Lyttelton the Nemea will sail to-morrow for Wanganui. The steamer is -expected at Castleclifl about Wednesday. (Kempthorne, Prosser and Co.). THE ABEL TASMAN. The 2040-ton intercolonial freighter Abel Tasman (Captain Archibald) is listed to complete discharge at Lyttelton and Wellington. prior to calling at Wanganui to commence her loading. She is due here on December 1 and if circumstances are favourable will steam up to the Town Wharf to load timber. The freighter is to sail on December 2 for Melbourne and Sydney, via Greymouth. (Holm and Co.). GUANO FROM WALPOLE ISLAND The Union Company’s 1948-ton freighter Kanna is to load guana at Walpole Island for New Plymouth. Wanganui and Lyttelton. She is expected here about December 24. (Johnston and Co.). KALINGO TO LOAD The Union Company’s 2047-ton intercolonial freighter Kalingo (Captain G. Bruce) is listed to load at Newcastle and Sydney about the middle of December for Wanganui, via New Zealand ports. (Millward and Co.). HOMEBOATS DUE. (To Load in Roadstead). MAHANA IN ROADSTEAD' _ From Brisbane, via New Plymouth, the Shaw. Savill. and Albion freighter Mahana, a twin-screw steamer of 8739 tons gross register and commanded by Captain J. M. Cameron, arflVed in the roadstead on aSturday morning. Perfect weather prevailed and on Saturday four lighter loads were taken out to the ship. She will sail either to-night or to-morrow morning for Auckland, Gisborne and Napier and is to clear the latter port on December 14 for London, via Montevideo. (Levin and Co.). CORNWALLIS TO LOAD. The s.s. Cornwallis is scheduled to leave Montreal on November 20 for Wanganui via Sydney. Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton,' Dunedin and Napier. From Wanganui she will receive cargo for New York, Boston and Montreal, transhipment at New York for United Kingdom and the Continent. There is a possibility that the Cornwallis will berth at Castlecliff. (Millward and Co.).
