LEAD MARIST MAKE GREAT RECOVERY UNITED GAINS OUTRIGHT WIN COLLEGIATE SCHOOL BEATS WANGANUI Technical College Old Boys, as the result of Saturday’s matches, have assumed the lead in the Wanganui Cricket Associat. ’s first grade championship. Marist, after being compelled to folow on, made a good stand in the second innings and thus averted an outright loss. Collegiate School defeated Wanganui op the first innings and United gained an outright win over Technical College. The teams now stand in the following order:—

Bowling Deere, none for 12; Sewell, five for 27; Wood, five for 9; Currie, none for 10.
