RETURNING TO GREECE.—King George 11, who has accepted an invitation to resume the throne of Greece, which he abdicated in 1923. He leaves London to-day for Athens.
LATEST STRATOSPHERE FLlGHT.— Captain Orvil Anderson and Captain A. W. Stevens, United States Army flyers, whose ascent into the upper air on Monday is said to have reached an altitude of 14 miles. The flight, sponsored by the Army Air Corps and the National Geographic Society, lasted for 8hrs 13min, after which the balloon and its gondola landed near White Lake. The airmen are seen inspecting the gondola at Rapid City, South Dakota, where the flight started.
