FIRE ON STEAMER KARETU
DAMAGE ONLY TRIFLING. SYDNEY, Nov. 12. A small outbreak of fire occurred on the steamer Karetu in the wireless cabin, but was subdued by Ihe deckhands. Only trifling damage Mas done. CAPE TO ENGLAND LLEWELLYN’S RECORD TRIP. LONDON, Nov. 11. Mr. Llewellyn and Mrs. Wyndham arrived at Hanworth, covering the journey from the Cape in 156 hrs. 3min., breaking Amy Mollison’s record established in 1932 by IShrs. 48niin.
