NO FURTHER NEWS. Received Nov. 12, 11.55 p.m. . SINGAPORE. Nev. 12. The flying-boats took off at dawn to search all the islands and the coast between Rangoon and Victoria Point. Melrose is searching the place, where he thought he saw the Lockhead ’plane in the Bay of Bengal. MELROSE OVERDUE. Received Nov. 13, 1.45 a.m. SINGAPORE, Nov. 12. The Australian airman, C. J. Melrose, who is searching for “Smithy,” is himself 3 hours overdue at Victoria Point.
