SYDNEY WOOL STORE FIRE STONEY, Sept- 28. Tho Goldsbrough, Mort fire which broke out on Wednesday morning is still burning. Twenty firemen arc constantly on duty and continue to pour on water. During last night a strong wind, caused the flames to shoot up again. Residents of suburbs as far as ten miles from Pyrmont report that they can smell the burning wool. Charred fragments of wool which apparently were carried into the. upper atmosphere with the smoke arc still descending. - 1 uj
