COASTAL MOVEMENTS. CARGOES FROM SOUTHERN TORTS THE M.V. KAPITI The coastal motor-ship Kapiti is at present in Wellington. She is scheduled to leave there to-morrow morning for Wanganui and is due here on Wednesday. (Burgess and Co.). BREEZE DUE TO-MORROW With general cargo from southern ports, via Picton, the Canterbury Company's coastal motor-ship Breeze is due at Wanganui to-mor-row. She will load for Wellington, Dunedin. THE OREPUKIS MOVEMENTS The Canterbury Company’s coastal steamer Orepuki is scheduled to continue her Wanganui loading at Lyttelton to-day and at Wellington and Picton to-morroy. She is due here on Wednesday and will return to southern ports after discharge. (Millward and Co.). HOLMDALE DUNEDIN TO-DAY Holm and Company's a.s. Hauturu is scheduled to load for Wanganui at Onehunga to-morrow. She will complete at New Plymouth on Wednesday and is due here on Thursday. From Wanganui the Hauturu will return to southern ports, via Picton. (Johnston and Co.). TC’IRANGI EN ROUTE MAY ARRIVE TO-NIGHT The 72-ton motor-ship Tulrangi (Captain D. Bonner) is now en route to Wanganui from Auckland, via the East Coast. There is a possibility of the vessel arriving here tonight. OVERSEAS VESSELS. (To Berth at Castlecliff.) PHOSPHATES FROM NAURU The motor-ship Comliebank is scheduled to load phosphates at Nauru Island on October 2 for Messrs. Kempthorne, Prosser and Company. She is expected at Castlecliff, via New Plymouth, on October 18. (Millward and Co.). THE JAMES COOK With general cargo from Australian ports, via Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Auckland, the intercolonial freighter Jamee Cook (2142 tons. Captain C. G. THE KALINGO The Union Company’s freighter Kalingo (2047) tons, Captain C. Ostenfeld) is now leading on the West Coast for Australia. HOMEBOATS DUE. (To Load in Roadstead.) FORDSDALE AT WELLINGTON The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s freighter Fordsdale (9949 tons. Captain D. Christie) is at present loading at Wellington, from where she is scheduled to sail on October 3 for the Wanganui roadstead. She will load frozen meat and dairy produce for London and from Wanganui will proceed to New Plymouth, Auckland and Port Chalmers. She will sail finally on October 21 for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. (Freeman R. Jackson and Co.). MIDDLESEX NEXT MONTH The Federal Company’s freighter Middlesex 18575 tons. NAGARA FROM VAUCOUVER The Royal Mail motor-liner Niagara, with passengers, cargo and mails from Vancouver, is due at Auckland to-day. She will sail for Sydney at 11 p.m. to-morrow. MAKURA WELLINGTON TO-DAY En route from Sydney to San Francisco the Royal Mail steamer Makura is expected to arrive at Wellington this morning. She will continue her voyage at 3 p.m. to-morrow. INNAREN FROM VANCOUVER The Swedish motor-ship Innaren, 3637 tons, is reported to have cleared Vancouver last week with cargo from British Columbia foxdischarge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about October 17. THE SYDNEY MARU The Sydney Maru is expected to leave Melbourne next Wednesday for Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on October 7, and will sail on the following day for Auckland, where she is due on October 10. IDLE STEAMERS UNDER SURVEY After being laid up in the stream at Wellington for several years the Union Company’s cargo steamer Kaiwarra, 3051 tons, has been moved to the patent slip for examination and survey. The Union Company’s tanker Otokia, which had been laid up at Carey Bay for a very long period, was berthed at Port Chalmers recently for survey and overhaul.
