AGGRESSION IN EUROPE

BRITAIN REPLIES TO FRANCE WILL TAKE SOME TIME [ British Official Wireless. ] Received Sept. 27, 9.5 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 26. The British Government’s reply to the French Government’s inquiries regarding Britain’s attitude to any act of aggression in Europe was handl’d today to the French Ambassador in London. The text will be published after the French Government has received it, probably some time next week. The Daily Mail understands that the British reply to France will elaborate passages of Sir Samuel Hoare’s speech of September 11. It will reiterate the British Government’s intention to take the same line should there be an act of aggression in Europe as is being followed in the dispute between Italy and Abyssinia.
