MOTOR FATALITY

CHARGE AGAINST DRIVER [ Per Press Association. ] TIMARU, Sept. 26. An echo of a collision between two i cars on the Timaru-Dunedin main road lat Kingsdown on July 11 was heard ;in the Magistrate’s Court before Mr. C. R. Orr Walker this morning when Thomas Vincent, Pareora, was charged with (1) negligently driving a car; (2) failing to keep as near as practicable to the left of the centre of the road; and (3) negligently driving and causing the death of Samuel Kingston. The evidence was almost identical with that at the inquest, and Vincent was committed for trial at Timaru on the third charge.
