After further legal argument, the Court ot Appeal reserved its decision in the case iu which Thomas Patrick Shaw, taxi driver, of Westport, and Thomas Shaw, electrician, also of Westport, appealed from the decision of Mr Justice Johnston, who refused to grant an application for a new trni of an action heard in Hie Supreme <’ourl. at West port in February. Plaint if!. Freda Hill awarded damages amounting to £1750, the jury holding that the death of the husband occurred as a result of a motor accident due tn lhe tiegligpme of Thomas Patrie: Shaw, whose car collided with d« < l a.-cd’s motor-'} vie.
