METROPOLITAN UNION LICENSED VICTUALLERS' CUP. TEAMS FOR TO-MORROW. The annual match for the Licensed Victuallers’ Cup will be played on Spriggens Park to-morrow, Kaierau. Wanganui champions, being pitted against Fcilding Old Boys, champions of the Alanawatu Union. Other events of interest will be the curtain-raiser between Marist and Moera (Wellington), and two matches on the racecourse ground in which Pirates’ lower grade will play Kia Toa teams. The following teams will represent their respective clubs in engagements to-morrow: Marist Club. Juniors v. Moera F.C. FEILDING OLD BOYS’ CLUB MATCH AT WANGANUI On Saturday the Feilding Old Boys’ Football Club will send a team to Wanganui to play Kaierau for the Licensed Victuallers’ Association Cup. FAMOUS PLAYER DEAD MEMBER OF 1908 WALLABIES BRISBANE, Sept. 26. The death has occurred of Mr T. J. Richards, a former Rugby Union international player, after a long illness. Air. Richards, while on tour in Britain with the Wallabies in 1908-9, was described by some critics as the world’s greatest forward of his time.
