MARKET SHOWS NO CHANGE. Received Sept. 9, 10.40 p.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 9. At, the wool sales 14,223 bales were offered and 12,469 wore sold, also 2192 privately. There wa.s very keen competition from the Japanese section, good suppiirt, from the Australian mills ami Yorkshire, and a limited demand • from tho Coutiuciit. The market showed > change from last week for all descriptions other than faulty pieces, which met with an irregular demand. Greasy Merino sold to 21 [d per lb. The average price of wool in Sydnev last week was £l6 18s Id a bale and. 12.9 d per lb.
