He joined the Alarist Rugby Chib and the Marist Cricket Club, anil in both won himself prominence by his thoroughness and conscientious nature. When the “Chronicle” staff arranged house teams in Rugby, cricket, or tennis, Ron was always numbered among the chosen. He also enjoyed swimming as a pastime and was runner-up in the junior championships at Palmerston North some years ago. He passed away at the early age of 24 after a serious operation which became necess-arv a month ago. Sincere sympathy will be extended to his sorrowing parents, brother and sisters.
