Over the week-end the above club held a flock race from Paekakariki, and an interval race from ManunuL Conditions wert ideal for the race from Paekakariki, and with a following wind the winning bird, owned by Mr. W. Loveridge, covered the 72 miles in very’ good time, taking Ihr. lamin. 38sec. for the journey, while from Alanunui the birds encountered a very boisterous element with a strong head wind, Mr. McPherson’s bird registering the best time in a slow race with 2hr.
