SOCIAL EVENING AT GONVILLE.

The Gonville Bowling Club held its usual weekly function in the Alasonic Hall on Saturday. There was a good attendance and the proceedings throughout were most enjoyable. The “500” prizes were won by Airs. Shipman anil Air. Fisher, consolations going to Aliss Alorrison and Airs. Norris. After supper a happy time was spent in old-time dancing, the floor being in good order and well filled till midnight. The “Monte Carlo” was won by .Mrs. Ffye and Mr. Shipman, whilst the novelty dance competition went to Airs. Huuvvick and Air. Reese. Amongst those present wore: Air. and Airs, ('henery, Mr. and Airs. Shipman, Mr. and Airs. Syman, Air. and Airs. Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. Murphy, Air. and Airs. Ferris, Air. and Airs. Alorton, Air. and Mrs. Symonds, Air. and Mrs. Ruffe, Air. and Airs. Holmes, Air. and Airs. Simmons, Air. and Airs. Carlton, and Airs, and Mrs. Christensen; Afesdames Hunwick, Al unroe, Hodges, Mitchell, Matthews, Ale Dowell, Skelsey. Denman, McMillan, Winter, Gallen, Hampton, Marchant, Sharpe, Norris, Tinney, Forbes and Robinson; Misses Atkins, Morrison, Hodges, Shanks, Holmes, Joslin, Fisher, Ralph and Christensen; Messrs.
