COLLISION IN GALE

BATTLESHIP AND STEAMER GERMAN SAILORS KILLED Received Sept. 1. 7.20 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 31. The battleship Ramillies en route for the .Mediterranean., collided during a gale in the Channel with the German steamer Eisenach. The latter’s bow was crumpled. The warship stood by throughout the night till tugs took the steamer sternfirst to Dover. Three German sailors were killed and another is missing. The lUmillics returned to I’ortsniouth with sliglil damage.
