AT ELLERSLIE COURSE
DUPLICATE RAIL ERECTED AUCKLAND, A#g. 22. On account uf the heavy state of the track at Ellerslie for Saturday’s racing, the Auckland Racing Club is causing a duplicate rail to be erected ten feet out from the present rails on that; portion of the course recently ie-tui-Tod, extending, from the live'furlongs to the home turn. This will make for better going, although increasing the distance slightly fur all events except the steeplechases.
