Many Wanganui Rugby enthusiasts yesterday followed with keen interest llie match between the Wanganui and the Canterbury representatives, played at Christchurch. A running commentary on the match was broadcast, ami slay at home patrons of the game 'n ere able to follow play from a comfortable '-eat sheltered from the wintry blast School Rep. Caps. The Wanganui primary school Rugby representatives will leave by the 6.20 a.in. train to-morrow for Masterion, where they will participate in the animal quadrangular tournament with Wellington, W.iirarapa and Manawatu teams for the championship banner. I'he koys will be the guests of the Regent Theatre management to-night, and during the interval in the programme they will be presented, on the stage, with their representative caps. Owing to two of the boys originally selected being unable to make the trip owing to illness, two of the reserves will now have the opportunity to secure the coveted caps.
