£2000 PRIZE

WON BY DUNEDIN “LUCKY BLACK CAT” DRAW WELLINGTON, Aug. 6. I First prize, of £2OOO in the “Lucky Black Cat” Art Union, went to a Dunedin ticket, bearing the name “Old Faithful,’’ and second prize of £750 was won l»y “Selwyn,” uf Christchureh. The ticket taking the third prize of £250 was made out in the name of “Butterfat,” and bore a Timaru address, while fourth prize of £2OO went to “Lucky Black Cats,” of South Canterbury. Hawke’s Bay, Invercargill. Auckland, Christchurch again, Hamilton and Kaitangata were represented in the prize list. The draw was made in. the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall and occupied less than 20 minutes. Mr. J. Hutchcn represented the. Internal Affairs Department and Sergeant 11.
