FORDELL SALE There was a. small entry of sheep at l’’ordel| yesterday, and a very keen de mand was experienced. A small line of ewes and lambs sold at 14s lid; all counted equal Io 32s for the ewes with lambs not counted. Several lines of aged ewes in indifferent condition made from 18s 3d to 19s. S.D. lambs made 16s Id. There was ‘in entry of about 60 head of dairy stock. These met wit h ']i 11 le inquiry at auction but sold after the sale at from £2 10s to £3 1 Id. THE BULLS SALE Daigety and Co., Ltd., report a fair entry of stock at. Bulls sale yesterday. The few pens of sheep submitted sold at current rates and a good entry of pigs met with keen competition, and all lots changed hands at improved prices. Dairy beef sold firmly at current prices, whilst a few pons of store cows were disposed of at no altered prices. Dairy stock was not in strong demand, only a few heifers commanding attention. Quotations. Ewe and lambs, IXs; fat hoggets, 18s: ewe hoggets, 20s; wc-Vher hoggets, 16s; weaner pigs, 12s to Ils; small stores, 18s to 20s; large stores, 22s Io 335; beef, 355. £2 2s (id, £3 us; store cows. 15s to 225; spring ing heifers, 355, 50s to £3 15>; dairv cows, 30s, £2 to £2 10s.
