BOGEY MATCH PLAYED SATURDAY’S GOOD CARDS Weather conditions on Saturday were excellent and were much appreciated by golfers. At the Cornfoot Park links the Castlecliff Club staged a bogey match and some good cards were handed in. The best cards were as follows: Seniors. I. H. McWilliams—2 up. F. W. Wagstaff—l up. J. I. Payne—l up. F. J. Gaze—l up. D. Taylor—All square. H. Hartnell—All square. J. A. Brooker —All square. Juniors. L. J. B. Chapple—6 up. F. Drew—6 up. J. Russell—s up. K. C. Davis—s up. R. C. Smith—s up. B. D. Fisher—4 up. A. Turnbull —1 up. On Saturday next the competition for the Rowe Cup will be started. This cup is for 36 holes medal play on handieal. The Castlecliff Club have issued a challenge to the Wanganui Golf Club for the Wilson Cup. A team of 12 players will play at an early date.
