MOTOR-CYCLIST’S DEATH

CRASH INTO REAR OF TRUCK | Per Press Association. I CHRISTCHURCH, July 19. Otto Robert White, aged 17, son of Otto C. White, hairdresser, New Brighton, was killed when the motor-cycle he was lading in Pages Road this afternoon struck the rear of a carrier's truck owned by E. L. Smith and driven by William Anderson Barclay. A pil lion rider on the bicycle, Francis Beardsley, aged 18, of Lonsdale Street, was admitted to hospital. White suffered severe head injiiiies and died Np.w Brighton, was badly injured and within a few minutes of the accident.
