The motor-ship Kapiti cleared Wanganui yesterday for Wellington and Lyttelton. The vessel will load at Lyttelton on Monday and Wellington on Tuesday. She is due here again on Wednesday. (Burgess and Co.). OREPUKI DUNEDIN TO-DAY. The s.s. Orepuki is due at Dunedin this morning from Wanganui and Wellington. OVERSEAS VESSELS ;To Berth at Castlecliif). KALINGO DISCHARGING. The Union Company’* freighter Kalingo (2047 tons, Captain C. Oatenfeld) is discharging coal and general cargo from Sydney and Newcastle. The vessel will probably complete at the Gas Wharf to-day and is to load for Australian ports at the Town Wharf before proceeding to Greymouth and Sydney to-morrow. (Millward and Co.). JAMES COOK EN ROUTE. The intercolonial steamer James Cook (2142 ton, Captain C. G. Turner) is due at Wellington on Monday morning from Sydney and via ports. The vessel will also discharge at Lyttelton. Dunedin, Wanganui and Greymouth. She is due at Castlecliff on August 1 and will sail from the Town Wharf the following day. (Holm and Co.).

FROM THE TEXAS GULF. With a full cargo of sulphur from the Texas Gulf, the Norwegian steamer Aelybryn was due at Auckland yesterday. The vessel will continue discharge at Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Wanganui. (Kempthorne, Proeser and Co.). OAKBANK FROM NAURU. The s.s. Oakbank is to replace the Antiope and is due at Wanganui early in August from Nauru Island via New Zealand porU. The Oakbank will bring a cargo of phoephate for Messrs. Kempthorne, Prosser and Co. (Millward and Co.). OVERSEAS VESSELS. (To Load in Roadstead). TORT HOBART AT OAMARU. The C. and D. Line motor-ship Port Hobart arrived at Oamaru on Monday afternoon from Launceston to commence her Homeward loading. She is scheduled to leave there for Bluff, Lyttelton. Nelson. Wanganui and Wellington to complete. The vessel is due here on July 29, and is to clear Wellington on August 3 for London, via Cape Horn and Dakar. PORT HUON COMING. The motor-ship Port Huon is due at Opua on July 26 from Adelaide to commence her I loading, and completes at Auckland, Gisborne, I Napier. Wanganui, New Plymouth and Weli lington. She is due there on August 15, and is to clear that port finally on August 17 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Dakar. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER.
