BRITISH CATTLE INDUSTRY. EXTENSION TO JUNE NEXT. [British Official Wireless.] RUGBY, July 6. A memorandum published yesterday explains the financial resolution in connection with the cattle industry. The emergency provisions will provide for their extension in the first instance to the end of June. 1936. Ir is estimated that the sum which Parliament will be asked to provide under these provision:from October, 1935, to June, 1936, will not exceed £3,000,000. It is proposed also to make provision for a further extension for a period not exceeding four months from the end of June, 1936,1 subject to the specific authority of Par lianient. If circumstance-- should arise which make it necessary for Parliament to be asked to approve such ex- • tension, the further liability on the public funds is not expected to exceed £1,333,000. ‘ It is intended that these advances, together with those already made, shall < be recoverable in full from the proceeds of any levy which may hereafter be collected on imported meat and Jive- ; stock. 1
