CAR STRUCK BY TRAIN
DRIVER'S LUCKY ESCAPE (. Per I*rcs» Association ) PALMEKBTON N., July 9. A remarkable escape from injury was experienced by H. Kloses, a Maori resident of Rangiotu, when the car which he was driving was struck by a goods train at Longburn shortly after midnight. The car was wrecked, being thrown against a power pole after being struck, but Moses escaped unharmed.
