ASLEEP IN PAVILION

BOYS ARMED WITH GUNS DISCOVERY BY CONSTABLE [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, July 8. About 2 o’clock yesterday morning, while he was patrolling Victoria Park, a constable found two boys, one aged 14 and tne other 17, asleep iu Hie pavilion. Both were armed with guns, one having a fully-loaded rifle and the other an automatic pistol. There were ieven cartridges in the rifle, and thv pistol also was loaded. The constable al»o seized nearly 5u rounds of ammunition. It. is believed that both boys cycled to Auckland recently ironi Elttiam, where, it is alleged, they broke into premises and stole the firearms. One boy has been remanded to appear at Eltham on another charge, while the younger one has been remanded in care of the Child Welfare Department,
