KAISER’S ARMY MEET AGAIN FEALTY TO HERR HITLER [By Telegraph— Press Association— Copyright) BERLIN, July 7. With trumpets, drums and martial pomp the Kaiser’s army was resuscitated when 350,000 assembled at Kassel for “Warriors’ Day,” organised by the Kyffhauser Uiuon of Ex-soldieis. The number transcended anything tiermany had seen. Herr Hitler, to whom they swore fealty as commander in-chief, was a corporal when they filled the lighting lines. Bleep was impossible while the army, under 20,000 flags, inarched through Kassel all night, bomc limped and others bc-re empty sleeves, but an marched triumphantly on to the review ground. Genera Reinhardt welcomed the Anglo-German pact and affirmed thu value of the rapprochement of front line fighters of all nations. He reiterated his belief in Herr Hitler, amid thunderous shouts of “Heil!” The march past lasted for lour hours. General Dollman conveyed Hen Hitler’s greetings. Wreaths were placed on the graves of Russian and British war prisoners. General von Epp testified to the bravery of those who crossed swords with the Germans. The French and British ex-soldiers unions wrote hoping that there would be a common basis for future friendship.
