WEDDING IN AUSTRALIA Romance has stepped into the life of Miss Lisa Hall, of Wanganui, who left some time ago to continue her vocal studies in Australia. Wanganui friends will be interested to hear 01 her marriage to Mr. Jack Edwards, oi Melbourne. Miss Hall was offered and accepted a position as one of the principals of the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Co. After a heavy season of rehearsals the company opened in Adelaide. The strain of hard singing ano an attack of influenza brought on illness and slight throat trouuie, so Miss Hail decided not to go on with the Melbourne season. Sue was asked to sing in “Elijah'' with Horace Stevens, but the Gilbert and Sullivan offer came at the same time and so she could not take itShe does not intend to give up her singing career, and after a good rest site will continue her voice training and hopes to do concert and oratorio work, also broadcasting, none of which are as strenuous as show work. The bridegroom, who is in charge of one of the biggest motor businesses in Melbourne, went to the war when only 16, was a lieutenant in the Air Force at 19 and has made car racing records in France and England.
