'me Omnguiti lorwards played their usual Hard game and were very wen support-ed by the backs, particularly the inside division, who comuined bet ter in this game than tuey have «o rar done this season. Tries were scored by Pritchard, Corbett and Cook (2), and one was converted by Biel. The first came from a cleverly intercepted pass by Cook, who went over. L’ritciiaid had bis * ads u-u the ball when three forward* went over together for the second try. The third score came from a movement instituted uy H. Pritchard who, in the Ohingaiti twenty-live, whipped the ball out to Biel, who ran strongly to- halfway before transferring to Cook, who drew away from all opposition to travel the remaining distance tor a good try. 'lhe last movement started irom the hall-way line, wneu Jim Potaka cut iu beautifully aud jinked his way through to the twenty-five line before passing to Corbett, who cleverly beat three men before clapping on a good deal of pace to go over for a well-uescrved try. Air. Westwood very capably controlled the game. Ohingaiti v. Huia During the week-end the local juni ors travelled to Aioawhango to play a return match against Huia. A very interesting game ended with the score at 9 all, Huia’s points coming irom a field goal and a converted try. For Ohingaiti Jim Potaka, Dan Potaka and Cook each scored a try, none of which Vere converted. After the match the visitors were royally entertained in ' the Aioawhango Hall and before leaving for home the thanks of the Ohingaiti team was expressed by Air. F. H. Ale Intyre.
