PERSONAL The condition of Mrs. J. E. Walker who was operated on for appendici’is on Saturday night., is unchanged, and yesterday’s advices were that she is progressing as well as can be cx'pected. The X-ray examination of Mr. C. E. Bailey, who met with an accident to his back last week, shows that nc bones are broken, but he will require to remain in hospital for a few days for massage* treatment. Messrs. Quentin and George Ellery have returned from a motor trip to Rotorua, Waitomo and National Park.
