HARRIER DANCE
VISITORS ENTERTAINED On Saturday evening the Harrier Club gave a most enjoyable, and successful dance at AlcKenzic’s Hall to celebrate the afternoun’s run. All the visiting runners from Alartmi ami New Plymouth, numbering about 50, wvre the guests of the club, members gJ Die committee receiving them as they arrived. There were close on 21)0 danc ers present, .several parties arriving after the cunciusiun of -the picture programmes. Alulti-coloured paper streamers made effective decorations, ami tiie various (■c-loured lights shed a soft glow over (he pretty frocks worn by the dancers. Novelty dame., interspersed in the programme, a good floor ami bright, music played by thv Arcadians added Io the enpyment el (h"sc present. The ariangemciits for the evening were in wry capable hands and everyone expressed pleasure l"r the even ing's entertainment.
