Ln connection with the 500th anniversary of the Swedish Rikedag, Mr Ramsay MacDonald sent the following telegram to the Swedish Prime Mims ter:— “It gives me great pleasure to con vey to you in the name of His Ma jesty’s Government of the United Kingdom, our very hearty congratulations to the Swedish Parliament which for 500 years has rendered sucl valuable service to the cause of con stitutional liberty.”
