CROQUET ULUB At the eleventh annual meeting of the Kaetihi Croquet Club there were present; Mesdaiues W. H. Bandford (in the chair), A. J. Windle, A. C. Henderson, N. Brown, H. Rieper, Kussell, K. Thompson, F. Comer, 11. Green, A. Mead, A. Laing, Waters, D. I’. Bcarte and H. Bovvater. Apologies were re ceived irum Mesdames Guy, Watson, Btewart and Bigley. Two resignations were accepted and one member joined as an active member. The balance-sheet and report were adopted. It was agreed that the banking ae count be transferred from the I'ust Office Bavmgs Bank to the Bank of New Zealand. Accounts amounting to £6 Is 2d were passed fur payment. At the close of the business a dainty afternoon tea was served by the ladies. GOLF The results of the first bogey competition among the ladies cf the Waimarino Golf Club was as follows: A Grade: Mrs. Marshall 5 down. Mrs. Legge 6 down. Mrs. Cracroft. Wilson 6 down, Mrs. Murray 7 down.
[B Grade; Mrs. A. Urwin 3 down, Miss Btevenson 5 down. The third L.G.U. must be played on |/Saturday, June 1. ODDFELLOWSHIP The last meeting of the Loyal Raeiihi Oddfellows Lodge was held in the Druids* Hall, when there was a record attendance. Owing to the exceptionally bad weather expected visitors Irum Wanganui, Taumarnnui and othei places were unable to be present, Wanganui Lodge being compelled to return when .14 miles from Kaetihi. The Lecture Master’s ritual charge competition was won by Bister E. Price. Occasion was taken to bid farewell to P.G. Bro. F. J. Payne, who has been transferred to Wanganui. P.G. Bro. L.
