AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW

■DURIE HILL FUNCTION SOME BEAUTIFUL EXHIBITS LIST OF PRIZEWINNERS. Hehl in the Durie Hill Anglican ( hurch Hall yesterday, the Autumn Flower Show was a distinct success and responsible for some very beautiful blooms being exhibited. The function took place in the St. Barnabas Church Hall and was the first of its kiml to be organised by parishioners of the above . church. In addition to (lowers there I was a most attractive home industries section which held the. close attention of housewives. The vegetable, section has resulted in a striking display. ’l’he show was opened this afternoon by Mr Hope Gibbons. The judges were: Mr W G. Martin (chrysanthemum section), Mrs Tl. G. j Lewis (dahlias and decorative sections), Mrs AL A. Lethbridge, and R. , McCheyne Miller (children’s section), I Air T.
