Sir, — I thank N.Z. Welfare League its expression of regret. It was, however, unnecessary. I was not “tempted to write.” I merely wrote. The second, the desire or will to have it bridged. The third, to delegate the qualified experts to design the bridge and complete it. Note, the technical details of the job are outside the scope of those giving the order to do the work. Now the responsible body in. New Zealand will not grant that the gap exists. Douglas says there is a gap between total prices and total incomes and until that gap is filled civilisation is in danger.
