ITALY IN AFRICA SOLDIERS AND MATERIAL ADDITIONS TO ARMY MASSED ON FRONTIER [By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright! Received April 10, 11.5 p.m. LONDON, April 10. The Times’ Rome cosrespondenf says that a steady trickle of men, material and munitions continues from Italian ports to East Africa. The Daily Mail’s Massowa correspondent says that there are at present 100,000 tons of shipping in the. harbour. Every street is choked with the sinews of war from casks of chianti to cases of cordite and thousands of yards of barbed wire, all being hurried off to the Asmara capital SO miles away. It is reported that 20,000 Italians, much heavy 7 artillery, 200 aeroplanes, and 40,000 native troops are massed on the Abyssinian frontier, while larger forces are assembling in Italian Soma liland. Meanwhile Abyssinia is buying guns and material from Japan.
