Forecast.—Winds: Aloderaie to strong north-easterly to northerly, rising to gale force at places. S-'eas (New Zealand waters;: High nortli of East Cape and becoming rough generally. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong west to south-west winds in the northern portion, with rather rough seas; strong northerly winds to gales in the southern portion, with rough to high seas. Weather: Dull and misty with wide spread and in places heavy rains. Some flooding probable in the Auck land province, also in the far south. Alild temperatures. The New Zealand Friends’ School, St. John's Hill, report fur 24 hours ending 6 p.m. yesterday:—Bright sunshine, 2 hours. Rainfall, .06 inches. Shade temperature: Alaximuni. 68 deg.
