WANGANUI ASSOCIATION | EASTER VISITORS. Arrangements have been finalised with the Petone Football Club to. play a Wanganui representative side at Wanganui on Easter Monday. The Petone Club is the premier football club of the Wellington Association. They were the North Island finalists in the Chatham Cup competition last | year, and always draw a large number of followers to witness their eluh games. Of the team visiting Wanga nui on Easter Monday, seven have rep 1 resented New Zealand and seven will play for Wellington against. Canterbury on Easter Saturday at Welling ton. With such obvious talent amongst, the visitors, Wanganui supporters of th B code will be provided with an exhibition of good football seldom wit ; nessed in this city. The Wanganui management, fully recognising the position are setting themselves out to ; field a very strong team and for this purpose a. trial game will be played on Saturday, April 13. on Victoria .
