CHARITABLE BEQUESTS

I WHANGAREI MAN’S WILL [ Per Press Association. J AUCKLAND, April 9. Nine charitable and religious institutions will benefit by the will of Norman McDonald, an old resident of Whangarei Heads, who died on March 16, aged 83. The will provides the follow! rig specific legacies, amounting to £1030: British and Foreign Bible Society, £200; Auckland Ladies’ Benevolent Society, £200; Leslie Presbyterian Orphanage, £200; New Zealand Institute for the Blind, £200; Auckland Hospital Board, £BO, and Whangarei Hospital Board, £100; St. James’ Presbyterian Church, Auckland, £5O. All legacies are to be paid free of estate or succession duty. The residue of the estate is to be divided equally between the Manure wa Children’s Home and the Anglican Orphan Home, Papatotoe. It is estimated that each will receive about £lOOO.
