MAJESTIC CINEMA. “UNCERTAIN LADY.” Should a wife give up her husband to the other woman if she’s guaranteed another husband just as good? That’s the unique situation in the domestic problem that besets Genevieve Tobin and Edward Everett Horton in Universal’s sophisticated comedy drama, ‘‘Uncertain Lady,” which conies to the Majestic Cinema to-morrow (Thursday). Imagine the utter amazement of the husband when his wife makes him a business proposition—to replace himself and she will let him go. There is laughter galore in this amusing and highly sophisticated story of uncertain ladies and certain gentlemen. You’re certain to be entertained by the antics of the effervescent screen comedian, Edward Everett Horton, and the brilliant Genevieve Tobin. An unusually meritorious supporting cast includes Alary Nash, George Aleeker, Paul Cavanagh, Renee Gadd, Dorothy Peterson, Herbert Cort hell and many others. It’s the kind of picture that will keep you in a carefree, rollicking mood throughout, with more comedy situations in it than a menagerie or monkeys. Just how it all ends will make you sit up and take notice. Horton was never funnier and Aliss Tobin never more attractive than in “Uncertain Lady.” Be certain to make a date with the “Uncertain Lady” at this theatre to-morrow.
