DEATH PRESUMED
MR. C. ULM’S NAVIGATOR SYDNEY, April 8. Mr, Justice Nicholas, in the Probate Court, to-day granted leave to Ellen Andree Skilling, Auckland, to swear to the death of Joseph Leonard Skilling, navigator and wireless operator with Mr. C. T. P. Ulm, on his ill-fated trans-Pacific flight in December. Mrs. Skilling’s affidavit stated that Mr. Skilling was to receive £7 10s a week until the completion of the flight £250 in respect of his services, and all living expenses and £lO weekly for six weeks after the completion of the flight. Another clause in Mr. Skilling’s agreement released Mr. Ulm from all claims arising out of accident or death during the period of his employment.
