INDIAN MUTINY
DEATH OF A SURVIVOR Received April 9. 9.4 U p.m. CALCUTTA, April 8. Mrs. A. M. White, a survivor of the Indian mutiny, died at Cawnporc, aged 83. Her diary records giving water to wounded British troops at Agra. Her husband was a drummer boy in the Bengal native infantry in Benares when the mutiny broke out. The regiment was disarmed and White joined the force which later relieved Catrnpore. He died in 3R27*
