KISCH AT COLOMBO

NOT ALLOWED TO LAND. “TROUBLES DUE TO HITLER.” COLOMBO, March 20. Egon Kisch, passenger on board the Orford, was not allowed to land at Colombo. Kisch is greatly disappointed, because he intended to go to Kandy to collect material for articles for newspapers and a book he has contracted to write. He said: “All of my troubles are due to Herr Hitler’s influence.” ALLOWED TO LAND. COLOMBO, March 20. After an assurance from Kisch that he would continue the voyage to-night, the police allowed him to land and proceed to Kandy.
