SUGAR CANE GRUB
PEST IN QUEENSLAND. TOADS TO BE IMPORTED. BRISBANE, March 21. The sugar experimental stations propose to import into Queensland giant toads to control sugar cane pests. An attempt, will be made to breed toads, after which the first generation will be liberated in grub-infested areas.
