THE TAILOR’S DREAM

“EMPEROR’’ OTTO’S UNIFORM. One of the leading tailors in Vienna is very proud and happy because he has just finished a new uniform for Archduke Otto—“ Emperor” Otto, as the Austrian legitimists describe this eldest son of the late Austrian Emperor Karl. The uniform is a very lovely one, and consists of a magnificent “dove-blue” coat with reddish-brown distinctions on the collar and on the sleeves, a black pair of trousers, a “field-grey” overcoat, and a sword with the corresponding “port d’epee.” The uniform is that of the 117th. Infantry Regiment of the old Imperial and Royal Austro-Hungarian Army, a regiment which was always regarded as the Hapsburgs’ owa.
